Windows 2016 ReFS Install Guide

Hello!

1) The ReFS Data Deduplication is only available with the 1709 build of Windows 2016;
2) The Windows 2016 1709 is only keep with a new/fresh installation;
3) The Windows 2016 1709 is only a Core version, no Desktop Experience available;
2) The ReFS Data Deduplication and Block Clonning can't work together at same time;

Base on the statements above, i think:

If a want to use the ReFS with Data Deduplication so i need (re)install the server with a fresh installation of Windows 2016 1709 that are only core edition and format the data drive with the ReFS + Enable the Data Deduplication for the volume.

I'm right ?

You cannot enable both deduplication and use our fast clone capabilities at the same time. In Veeam 9.5 update 3 we actually disable fast clone when deduplication is enabled on the ReFS volume.
