Alarm VM conection network

Post by adrianIDC »

Hi guys!

I was watching the various alarms that can be configured for Hyper - V VM..... and I need a alarm when a Hyper - V VM runs out of network connection.

Thank you for your contribution

I list, activated and running.
But I want only one person in my laboratory is responsible for receiving the alarm.

If I access NOTIFICATION SETTING I can add an email address but can only be configured for ONLY ERRORS , ANY STATE , and WARNING ERRORS .

If I select one of them, I would also set other alarms.

In the alarm set . In the Actions section I put SEND EMAIL NOTIFICATION VALUE and I added e- mail receiver . In CONDITION I left it by default.

The alarm is generated and is visible but the receiver does not receive any email notification .

Hi Adrian!
Thanks for another interesting question about alarms :)
Have you created a custom alarm?

You can choose sending an alarm to a default group with group`s defined condition or only to specific address with chosen condition.
Thanks!

yes Shestakov! I created and works perfectly . Only in sending separate notice I have to do to send them correctly.

As a recommendation, should have more predefined alarms Hyper - V Machines ;)

Just curious, which event do you use for VM network conection alarm?

We are including more predefined alarms in the next Veeam One version, including those you mentioned in previous topics. Please share what other alarms you are missing and had to create yourself.

Thanks for the feedback!
