I have just applied new VeeamONE Patch#1 (8.0.0.1598) to fix another case (Veeam Support - Case # 00727625) where the data collection in one of the ESXi was considered as in error.
However after the Patch#1 is applied successfully, I got bombarded with the alert email every 5 minutes:
[Veeam ONE Monitor] Alarm - Events data collection failure for PRODVC01-VM has been changed to Error (previous state: Reset/resolved)
Alarm: Events data collection failure
Details:
Fired by event: VeeamEventCollectionFailedEvent
Event description: Failed to collect events data for object PRODVC01-VM. The object has already been deleted or has not been completely created
Initiated by: Veeam ONE Monitor (PRODMON01-VM)
and
Alarm: Topology collection failure
Details: Fired by event: VeeamInfCollectionFailedEvent
Event description: Failed to collect infrastructure topology for object PRODVC01-VM. System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException
Initiated by: Veeam ONE Monitor (PRODMON01-VM)
so how to avoid this problem ? or do we expect another patch#2 to be released soon for this issue / behaviour ?

Hi Albert,
As I see your support case is still open and you`ve scheduled Webex session. So please keep working with the support team.
Once our R&D team have the solution made and tested, the support team let you know. It can be a hotfix or a part of patch. As a workaround you can just suppress the alarm.
Thank you!
Albert, please disable host hardware alarm as a workaround. Our R&D team is working on the update for this patch 1 to fix this events issue. Your support engineer will notify you about patch availability.
