Changing trend time period on the Overall Tab

Post by jeffs_wwater »

G'day

I was wondering if there is a way to change the view of the "Overall" Tab so that it displays the last hour of data for each trend rather than just the last 15 minutes.

Hello Hanx, currently no way to customize it - but we will add a registry parameter for that in the upcoming 4.0 release for you.

Hi Gostev

Thanks for your response, however the Registry Key option is not quite what we are after.

We're looking for the "Overall" page to have the same time period views as the individual resource tabs (i.e. Past hour, Past day, Past week, Past month, Past year). Whilst the Reg Key option is good, it doesn't solve this problem.

One of the reasons for wanting the Overall tab to have more flexibility is so that it mimics the look and feel of the individual tabs and can be used to view the Overall status of servers to see how performance may have been affected over a specific time period.

BTW, when is Version 4.0 due out.

Jeff, allowing to specify large time periods for this tab will affect UI performance very bad because of SQL query execution time.
The 4.0 version is due out in about 1 month.
