Clearing Alarm in vCenter doesn't clear it in VEEAM ONE
When you manually clear an alarm in vCenter, shouldn't that propagate over to VEEAM ONE monitoring so the alarm clears there too? I notice that when vCenter clears alarms on its own they clear in VEEAM ONE, but when I manually clear an alarm in vCenter (and it stays cleared there), it will forever show up still in VEEAM ONE. Is this by design or is this odd behavior?

Hello,
Yes, it`s by design.
By the way what`s the reason to use both vCenter and Veeam One alarms?
Veeam One contains all vCenter alarms + VBR alarms and more. You can customize existing alarms or create new ones. Usually our customers use only Veeam One Alarm Management.
Please read this topic for more info and ask additional questions if you have any. Thanks.

Re: Clearing Alarm in vCenter doesn't clear it in VEEAM ONE
vCenter just shows alarms by default. I do use VEEAM ONE as it's much better overall. However, when there is an alarm that needs to be manually cleared, if I clear it in VEEAM ONE does it clear it in vCenter for me?

Hi Christensen,
No, since alarms list does vary (Veeam ONE has more predefined alarms with their own settings) and do not depend on each other.
Thanks!
