I need to create an alarm to monitor a specific virtual disk within a VM. However, I can't seem to locate any alarm options for doing so. Am I just missing something completely?
Basically, I need to get an email when this particular virtual disk reaches 88% capacity.

Re: Create Alarm to Monitor Specific Virtual Disk
Hello Quinton and welcome to the community!
Do you mean VM Guest Disk (drive)? If so, you just need to include disk name to the rule.
Thanks!

Re: Create Alarm to Monitor Specific Virtual Disk
BTW, It is also possible to monitor a specific virtual disk for its performance when configuring datastore alarms. For the capacity monitoring, please follow Nikita's advice.
