Hi
I have just installed Veeam monitor and am happy so far with the results
However, when I changed users to a Non Admin account, things stopped working.
I have given the local user full rights to the SQL folder, but ths made no difference.
The Issue I have is that the documentation only states that Admin access is required for installation, and our policy rules strip out all local user admin rights unless they are in an exception.
What rights are actually required by the Veeam service account user, and to what folders?
thanks in advance
Tim

Re: SQL express service account rights for Monitor
Hi Tim,
Veeam Monitor account should be running under local admin account. As to DB rights, then you should grant this account with db_owner permissions.
Thanks!
