Supress Alarm / Veeam Backup

Hi all-

Quick question. How do I go about configuring an alarm to be surpressed when a Veeam Backup is occuring, if Backup and Monitor are installed on two different servers? Specifically, I have a vbackup and vmon servers. On the vmon server, I tried simply checking off the option to supress during Veeam Backup but that didn't help. I'm not sure how monitor would know a backup was underway if they aren't on the same server?

Anyway, can this be done?

Monitor will know about backup by seeing vCenter alerts that Veeam Backup is logging, so you do not really need to install Monitor and Backup on the same server. Do you have vCenter server, and have you added vCenter server to Veeam Backup and Veeam Monitor (versus standalone hosts)?
