I have run the installation of 3.0.2 against a SQL Express advanced edition installation. It accepts the DB credentials no problem but then the installation fails with the message "Installation was not successful. Please reinstall or contact Veeam support. Error Description: CREATE DATABASE failed. Some files names listed could not be created. Check related errors". I have WIn XP SP3 fully patched up to date.
Anyone had this and any ideas about what the cause is ?

Most likely such database file already exists, which is why CREATE DATABASE fails. Please use Monitor Settings application to create database (Database tab, click Change Database, then follow instructions). Hope this helps!
