we backed up rhel 8.7 on nutanix.
and uploaded backup file on aws s3.
i tried to aws restore. and error message occured
error message
2025-12-15 오후 11:58:51 Error Importing VM Error: Failed to import machine to Amazon EC2: CLIENT_ERROR : ClientError: Unknown OS / Missing OS files.
rhel vm installed ngt package.
how do i resolve this error ?

Most likely this is a UEFI boot‑mode compatibility issue between the Nutanix/RHEL VM and AWS VM Import/Export.
Also could be related to the NGT package that is installed and is masking the OS from the Amazon Import process.
I suggest that you open a support ticket and provide additional logs that might reveille the issue.
