Hello, Guys
When I check backups, only 1 snapshot is in first backup chains.
I think VAN takes snapshot every backup time.
But there is only 1 snapshot.
What is this snapshot?
Sincerely,

Re: First Snapshot
When the Veeam proxy starts its first backup, it takes a snapshot of each VM you are trying to protect. It will then copy this snapshot to your backup target via VBR.
The next time it backs up a VM, it will take a new snapshot and compare it with the old one. The changes will then be copied to your backup target, and the old snapshot is deleted.
This process then repeats each time you backup.
At any given time, you should have 1 snapshot for each VM, and 2 if a job is currently in progress.
Does that answer your question?
