Less developement?

Post by Coldfirex »

Howdy,
After loving Veeam B&R in VMware land (and still do) I am rather disappointed with Veeam on AHV so far. I was really hoping that there would be more added to the release via the updates but its mostly been bug fixes (some important mind you, but simple things like grammar mistakes are all over). I understand it's a new product but was hoping for a more aggressive ramp up post 1.0 in regards to the missing features.
Is this due to less interest in it as a product so it's making less money? Or are all new features simply being queued up for a v2?

The product is still in active development and v2 will be an improvement. Currently, there is no ETA but it is receiving the same love as other products.

v2 also gets significantly better integration with Veeam Backup & Replication, so it is dependent on the next VBR release to ship.
