MinIO - Offload Failed to establish connection to Amazon S3 Compatible endpoint

Hi all,

In a test phase, we integrated MinIO as S3 compatible storage within an SOBR as a capacity tier. MinIO is configured for immutable backups.

The integration as a capacity tier in a SOBR works wonderfully, a rescan of the SOBR works wonderfully....

BUT: an offload of the backups does not work with the error:

18:41:42 Processing TESTJOB test-srv01 Error: Failed to establish connection to Amazon S3 Compatible endpoint. See logs for details.

Anybody got an idea? Which logs are meant and whre exactly can I find them?

The message refers to the debug logs that can be collected this way. After you collect the logs, kindly, open a support ticket and attach them to the case. Once done, please, provide us with the support ticket number for future reference. Thanks!

Small thing, big effect: I didn't use a gateway server because all the systems involved were on the same network. Only the backup server had access to the internet via proxy, the extenst from the SOBR did not.
