Immutability Period

Hi,

I have a question regarding the immutability period.

I have a daily backup job that also gets scaled out to Backblaze. The Immutability in Veeam is set to 35 Days, however, the retention period in the job is only set to 7 days.

The job is already running since 19 days and on both locations, it shows me that there are 9 restore points available. Now i understand that that's because of the 7 Days retention period, however, shouldn't at least on the Object Storage still be the entire 19 days available due tu the object lock?

Hi! Yes, they are still physically present in the object storage. Just not shown in the Veeam UI, because they are already outside of your required retention policy, so references to those restore points have already been removed from the configuration database. If you want to see them, you should increase your retention policy accordingly. Thanks!
