Will the traffic always go through the Veeam server during a restore from Amazon S3 (Immutable...) to an Azure Iaas? not directly between Amazon-->AZURE?
as far as I can measure it always seems to do that.....

Hi,
Correct. If you talk about restoring for example a EC2 backup to azure it will go through the VBR components. You could run all of it in the cloud and with perfect networking setup you may even be able to go from AWS to Azure directly but basically the data flow is through VBR in that case.
