SOBR capacity tier offloading to Azure Blob storage
Hi all,
Quick question:
With SOBR capacity tier offloading to Azure Blob storage, if a backup file is not successfully offloaded during a session, will the next session pick up from where the last session ended? Or, does it retry from the beginning?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if if this is in the documentation. I couldn’t find an obviously stated answer.

Re: SOBR capacity tier offloading to Azure Blob storage
To provide context to the question, I have large backup sets that never successfully offloaded in a session. Will this set ever be "built" (for lack of a more precise term) in the Azure Blob storage repository/tier (in the way that a Copy job's set can bu built with multiple transfer sessions)?

Re: SOBR capacity tier offloading to Azure Blob storage
Hi Hannes,
Thank you for responding so quickly.
Follow-up question (stupidity warning):
If the file in the on-premises repository is aged out by a retention policy, before it could be successfully offloaded, will it be left in an incomplete state in the object storage repository (for perpetuity)?

The already uploaded blocks will be removed in this case, as long as there are no restore points on Capacity Tier that rely on them - remember Capacity Tier works in forever-incremental fashion. Thanks!
