Question
We use Veeam Backup and Replication 10 and we backup locally and to an S3 bucket at AWS. My previous post our server was virtual (VMWare) and we used the AWS Virtual Tape Library. Now we have a physical Veeam server still backing up locally and we have an S3 bucket for performance tier and scale out tier. So all our backups or saved to both local and AWS S3.
In our recovery testing, we want to be able to completely simulate a full disaster at our data center and rely on AWS to bring back up services. My question now is, can we build out that AWS Veeam server and load up a config dump and let that reconnect the AWS recovered Veeam server to access the S3 bucket.
Any issues with 2 servers accessing the same bucket?

Re: Veeam Server Recovery and AWS Part 2
Hello,
as long as the second server is only reading that bucket, you can do that. As far as I understand, the second VBR server only reads. So that's fine.
Best regards,
Hannes
