4.1 Multi-OS FLR legacy DHCP?

Post by pgriessl »

Hi all,

just upgraded to 4.1 and read the Release Notes about the improved Multi-OS
FLR appliance not using DHCP any more. The notes say "Legacy DHCP mode is
still available with a registry mod" - but how? What registry mod? (4.1 running
on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard)

(I need a static hostname/IP for the appliance for using the ftp-restore-trick for
Linux-VMs - this worked great with 4.0 preserving file ownership and permissions.)

Thanks for any hints,
Peter
