Error code: 64Failed to read data from the file

Post by omorin »

Bonjour,

Is it possible to ask Veeam to continue a backup in case of failed read ?

If a file is deleted between the time Veeam is preparing the backup and the time a file should be copied to tape, the backup is purely canceled.

I'm wondering what is selected as the source for a file to tape job. Just this one file? Root folder where the given file is located? Or multiple files, including the deleted one? Thanks.

Olivier, currently there's no way to continue job in such case. In future versions Veeam B&R will ignore such files and continue copy operation.

If you could change the source to the Windows server holding the folder you're copying, you could probably avoid such errors.

Yep. According to the plan, the existing behavior should be fixed there. Thanks.
