report on multiple vm performance

Post by phillbl »

Hi,
i am trying to setup a report to monitor multiple virtual machines.

if i select custom reports, vmware raw performance data, scope = cluster name, object type = virtual machine, monitor subsystem = cpu mem etc, metrics, include (group os similar servernames) the report run but comes up empty. even if i remove the include i would expect it to report on all vm's in that cluster.

Am i missing something during the report creation?

thanks

What reporting period is specified for this report? Is this the only affected report or every report returns empty page? (You can try the pre-defined report called Cluster Performance, for instance). Thanks.

Do you have any data for these VMs in Custom Performance report?
