Question regarding Weekly Backup and reversed incremental

Hello,

I'am wondering how does Veeam B&R handle weekly backups in conjunction with reversed incrementals.
Lets say we take reversed incrementals with regular daily interval and 14 restorepoints starting Sunday.
Then we go and take a weekly backup every Sunday.
Does Veeam just copy the Sunday .vbk and mark the copy as weekly or is Veeam doing some kind of transformation?

Do you mean you have a second job that runs weekly on Sundays? Backup chains created by separate jobs do not interfere, so the second job will perform its own backup, copying data from the original VMs.

We have a backup copy job to generate weekly backups as descripted in the gfs part of the veeam documentation regarding retention policy.
