Different compression settings for repositories (Backup-Copy

Hello again

one very small question ....

Is it advisable or not to have different compression settings in the Jobs? (Or is it possible at all ???)

- Compression optimal for the backup job which copies to the primary repository (has no deduplication function)
- Compression non for the secondary copy (Backup-Copy Job) to the secondary repository which is being deduplicated by Windows 2012 R2

As to your question, yes it is possible, and you can use this approach, if it suites your needs.
