VBK Question

Post by markanth74 »

Hello,

We use NAS devices that we rotate out weekly. This is our first cycle through so I have a NAS that has the new VBK from the last full backup and an old .VBK from last month. Question is it safe to delete the old VBK? Our backups are setup as reverse incremental.

Thank you!

Hi Mark,

Yes, it would be safe to remove it, but have you considered upgrading to patch 3 of Veeam B&R v7, where we have introduced full support for rotated media?

Thanks!
