Post by sadeghalmahdi »

Hi guys
i useed a veeam backup replication 6.5 for backup from esxi 5.5 VM's
but i have a problem
One of my virtual machine has high sensitivity and 1 second connection is not interrupted
Because of small interruptions caused outage reporting system is 5 minutes
now i create a backup job and exactly when a backup job complete Interruption occurs .i see a esxi log this result
after vm snapshot complete by veeam Interruption occurs .
a apply veeam backup patch 3 but no change.
this is natural interrupt accure after snapshot????
how do i do?????

Small interruptions during snapshot removal are, indeed, expected - stun can happen to commit snapshot data, this is just how VMware works. Situation might become worse, if primary storage lacks IO performance. You can try to take a snapshot manually, keep it long enough (the time similar to the one backup job takes) and delete it. Most likely, the issue will be reproduced even without Veeam presence. Thanks.

How large is the snapshot for this VM when the commit operation starts? What is the job schedule for this VM?

Also, note that Veeam 6.5 does not supports vSphere 5.5, the required version is 7.0 R2 or later.
