Replica disks are fixed size??

Post by cliffm »

Hi ,

I just failed over to a replica.
All went well but for one issue, the disks on the failed over replica are not expandable. I can't increase the size?
This is a major issue for me if I have to fail over a production machine and at some stage need increase the disk size.
On all my production machines I can increase the disk sizes if required.
But I have now checked all my relicas, this is not the case.

Any suggestions on how I can do this?

Thanks :)

Have you finalized the procedure by declaring the permanent failover on this replica? If not, the situation looks expected - the given replica has a "protective" snapshot taken during failover (to enable undoing failover) and, its virtual disks cannot be expanded while the snapshot is present. Thanks.
