In the PDF, it states that to use Virtual Center, then Veeam requires "If vCenter is used, administrator credentials are required." Is this really the case? It seems a bit excessive.
We would like to be able to replicate from some vSphere 4 vcenter installations WITHOUT having an admin account to VC. IS this not possible at all?

Re: Veeam backup - replication - rights required
Tim, yes it is possible to significantly limit the required permissions. Our support will be able to provide you with full list of granular permissions required to perform minimal backups, they have this documented. Note that the list of permissions varies depending on the processing mode you are using, as well as between backup and replication.
