Free Veeam Task Manager for Hyper-V Cannot retrieve Host!

i have install the new Task Manager for Hyper-V Server. But i can`t connect to any of our Hyper-V Host. I tryed with local and domain user, but it doesn´t work. Do i need some kind of Veeam Backup software, because we didn`t have any one...

No, this tool is standalone. We have not heard back about similar issues from the other users who have already downloaded the tool though, so this must be something specific to your environment. What error do you get?

Hello Raphael,

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience, current version can correctly work with non-English versions of Hyper-V only when English locale is selected (date,time, numbers format). You can customize the locale to be fully identical to your German locale (i.e. comma as a decimal separator), but the name of the locale should be English. We are currently working to fix the issue.
