Upgrade VBR 7 to 7.0.0.871 without Internet access?

Due to our policy, our VBR server should not have access to Internet. Is there a way to do a safe upgrade without allowing it to access Veeam license servers?

Internet access is not required to run an upgrade of Veeam B&R server. Thanks!

I've tested in only with free/full 30-day version, but after upgrade licence is 'not valid' until I enable Internet access to veam licence servers.
I am aware that connection is not required, but auto-licence feature depends on it.

You can disable license auto-update feature in main menu of the Veeam backup server and run the upgrade. During upgrade between minor versions of the product, license key is not touched and all configuration settings are preserved. Also keep in mind that not every license key can be automatically updated, the corresponding license state is displayed in the license status.

If you see that your license key is no longer accepted by the Veeam backup server, please contact our technical team for further troubleshooting.

In 7.0.0.690 (downloaded for test) there is no option to disable license auto-update, so how can I disable if BEFORE upgrade to 871?
What kind of license key will be touched then?
I'll try to reproduce this error with test license again.

Yes, I was referring to future upgrades of Veeam backup servers, sorry for not mentioning it.

Minor updates within the same major version do not require any license key update, everything should work out-of the box.

Today, after test update (30 day test license)from 690 to 871 everything worked as expected. Internet is disabled, and license works out of the box.Thanks!
