Change config backup repository via PowerShell

Post by Daffodil »

Hi there
I'm on my way to build a script to do the complete configuration for me after the installation is finished.
The script is nearly finished atm. All I still need to do is to change the config backup path, to remove the default repository.
All I've found was this Thread where javiis got the same Problem a year ago.
Could anybody help me with that problem or is it still not possible to change that path via powershell?
Otherwise is it possible to change the path in the database or something like that?

These setting seem still to be unchangeable via PS. If you're ok with changing it inside product database, why don't you want to change it once in GUI? Since we're talking here about more or less one-time operation, will not it be easier to apply the changes that way? Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response.

That is the point why i'd like to build the script. I have to rollout the application on 100+ servers so it is rather less a one-time operation.
If i can change it in the database, i could implement that in the script, but i do not know where to find this option.
Could you tell me where to find the setting in the database?

I would recommend contact support team with that, as we typically don't publish the ways to interact with internal database. Thanks.

Ways to interact with product database are published via support ticket only. So, you'd better open your own one. Thanks.
