datastore cluster objects as a backup source

Hello,

as it seems, it is possible to use VMware vSphere datastore cluster objects as a backup source.

When I search for a specific datastore cluster I get no result. when I search without a input, I only see datastore objects.

Any ideas?!

Sebastian, I was able to confirm that datastore clusters are not displayed in Veeam B&R console for some reason. I will check with R&D and update the thread appropriately.

I am curious as to why this is displayed in the selection, since we do not support Datastore clusters as the source in the current release...

I think this option is selectable since Veeam 7 Patch 4.
It would be cool, to see that this option become functional with a patch or in a future major release of Veeam B&R.
We have definitely a use case for this option.

I see... this was not an intended change, because there is no functionality behind it in v7. However, we are working to add this in v8. Thanks!
