Join Backup Copy jobs
Hi folks,
Is it possible to join already existing backupcopy jobs. I created a number of jobs but now realize that since they run sequentially and continuous it would be better to have them all in one.
Thanks

Re: Join Backup Copy jobs
Hi Geoff,
Do you want to merge all existing entire backup chains into one? I'm not sure that's possible. If you want to have a single backup copy job, then you will need to either add sources from other backup copy jobs to the main one or create a new backup copy job with all backup files sources added to the job.
Thanks!

Geoff, consider re-seeding procedure described here, should help in addressing what you're after.

Re: Join Backup Copy jobs
I believe you can create a couple of dummy backup jobs (one per backup copy job), map them to the files created backup copy jobs. Once you do that, create a new backup copy job and select dummy backup jobs as its source. Run it once. The result should be a "collective" backup copy job. Thanks.
