Can I restore the backup of a hyper-v vm to an extrnrl drive

hi everyone,
I want to attach an usb drive to one of my hyper-v host servers and use veeam to restore everything about a vm onto this drive. I will not run the vm's from this usb. I just need to export them in native hyper-v format.
possible with veeam?

Hi, yes - easily. Just make sure the Hyper-V host is registered with Veeam, do Import Backup from the USB drive, and use VM File recovery option on this backup. Thanks!
