scripting jobs

Post by jacb »

Is it possible to script 5 jobs at a time using power shell?
I know the command Start-VBRJob, but it only starts one job at the time. I want to run 5 jobs and then move on to the next 5 jobs etc.
I miss some examples on this community or from Veeam itself.

You should start jobs using command from summary on the last page of the wizard instead, this would allow starting multiple jobs as the command exits immediately instead of waiting for the job to complete as in case with Start-VBRJob cmdlet.

That's what I'm doing today, but i would like to start the other jobs as soon the jobs are finished.
The problem is that you only can have 5 "same-time" jobs running in the moment. From support the say that's going to be fixed in next version.
But until then is difficult to backup all the VM's within time-limit.
