Upgrade to V8
Is it possible to upgrade from 6.5.0.109 to V8 or should I upgrade to V7 first? This for Vsphere.

Yes, it's possible, but please follow the upgrade procedure from the Release Notes document carefully. Especially when it comes to ensuring that all your jobs gave had their latest runs completed successfully, and disabling all scheduled jobs for the duration of upgrade to prevent them from starting.
