SureBackup Issue With VMXNET3

Post by dhallam »

Hi im having an issue simular to this http://www.veeam.com/kb1570

Im trying to Sandbox my server 2012r2 and 2008r2 servers into Surebackup which is working fine, but i loose the Network Card Adaptor.
I cannot apply the mucrosoft fix as it errors so im asuming that is only for server 2008r2 not 2012r2
Its a bit of a pain as im currently testing our Domain crontrollers and exchange and everytime i have to ree add the network onto each server.

I also want to do a full site test and this would take ages on 20+ servers to re add all network cards.

Done anyone have any ideas or a link to any other microsoft patches for this issue.

Also im running veeam 7.0.0.871

Cheers for any info

The fix does not apply to 2012 R2 because the fix is already in the product. If you are experiencing the same behaviour, you better contact our support and verify what is the root cause.

This can now be closed the patch sorted the issue. The other issue was that the newtork cards were not being even added to the vm in surebackup. this was down to a incorrect vm lan setting in the Virtuall Lab.

Many Thanks for the help
