Hi Babak,

In order to monitor storage hardware you can use our hardware sensors tab that is available for each host. Is this what you're after?

Thanks!

Do you mean that you see nothing in the vSphere Client or Veeam ONE Client?

Yes, this tab should allow you to monitor any hardware failure detected by ESXi host/vCenter Server via CIM protocol.

You need to make sure CIM service is up and running first. After that Veeam ONE will be able to retrieve this info.

You can check that by navigating to the ESXi host via vSphere Client -> Configuration -> Security profile -> Service properties -> CIM Server. If it is running and you still do not see any data on the hardware tab for this host, then I would suggest opening a support case with VMware and ask them why hardware data is not collected by vCenter Server.

Ok, now let's take a look at what collection job reports on this error. Can you let our technical team take a look at your configuration? You can do that by opening a support case via cp.veeam.com.

No, storage devices cannot be added directly to the Veeam ONE, however we do have an ability to monitor storage via vSphere API of the ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.

You do not need to install anything on the vCenter Server. Veeam ONE can monitor your hardware via hardware sensors on the storage. If you want to get specific information for your storage device, then it is not possible.

No, you can only add ESXi, Hyper-v or Veeam Backup & Replication server for monitoring and reporting purposes.
