Feature Request - Powershell

Post by mcafeej »

Is there any plans for including Powershell snap-in for the Endpoint Backup?

I realize this product is geared toward more end users than enterprise but scripts could be written that would allow enterprise admins the ability to remotely do some or all of the following if a snap-in would be available:

List last backup and its status including backup size and location
Start a backup job manually
Change the settings of a backup job
Change Number of Backups to Keep
Enable/Disable scheduled backups
Enable/Disable notifications
Throttle backup activity when system busy

The plan is to allow configuration via command line right in v1, so that admins could deploy this via Group Policy.

That will be a step in the right direction for Enterprise users.
