Feature request - Branding Veeam Endpoint

Post by MikeV »

Would like to see some custom branding capability for Veeam Endpoint.

For example:
Putting company logo somewhere in interface along with some contact information for the Helpdesk/Support for the company.

Also for reselling full custom rebranding capability

Branding so the end client has some info about who to contact when they have problems or questions.
Also will End Point be free forever?

The product you are beta testing now, and its current functionality scope will remain free forever.

I can assume that down the road, we will have value add editions with more features (for example, focused at enterprise use cases), or options (such as paid support), or even just reusing the engine in some paid product (like B&R). These are pure speculation on my part at the moment, just because it is safe to assume that IF the product is successful, than we will want to monetize it somehow. However, the statement made by our CEO that "Endpoint backup must be simple and FREE" cannot be taken back ;)

But we are not really thinking about this much right now, as our initial goal is to deliver #1 endpoint backup product for personal use by IT pros. So for v1, we focus on features that makes sense to them (and obviously they don't care about branding).
