Total Backup Size

Post by Andy C »

Is it possible to reset the Total Backup Size (displayed in the Restore Point Details) in the event the saved backups were ever lost, deleted or moved?

Thanks.

This should go away according to the retention policy settings you've configured.

This label is cumulative, it reflect the exact size of the restore points kept in repository. I’ll check if we can correct the existing behavior, but for now recalculation is not possible (only via retention).

I assumed at first this size referred to the total size of the location where the VBK, VBM and VIB files were being saved but when I performed a full backup of the disk to an external device the size still increased. I have amended the retention settings and will wait for the size to change accordingly.

Thanks.
