BUG/TERMINOLOGY + Update

Post by DSMoyle »

So far I've setup EndPoint on 2 x 8.1 Pro laptops backing up to a QNAP NAS - All working superb so far, haven't really had any issues.

In the task bar, mouse over;
There is terminology about when backup disk is plugged in - In many cases may not be directly connected (via network)
"backup disk is connected OR available"

Will be backing up a Windows 7 computer there shortly - Expect it to work 100%.

Great work - Jumped on it after purchasing Veeam for two/three years at work for our VMWare infrastructure.

Cheers

Hello David,
Thank you for the feedback - I am glad (and proud) you have positive experience with the BETA! You refer to the wording in the tool tip on hover the task bar icon while backup job is in the waiting for repository state?

How about updating the Beta installation to the GA version in future ? Are there already any details known ?
Will it be possible with a normal update installation or will a complete uninstall of the Beta and a new GA installation needed ?

Hi Lars,

There are no details known about that yet. From the moment we are further in the cycle, we will know better.

Thanks for understanding

Cheers
