Instead of daily, Monday - Friday or just Sat-Sun

Re: Weekday/Weekend Schedule option choice
Hi Robert,
Is this because business is operating in this time (Mon-Fri) or something else?
Thanks!

And I wonder if it’s critical – increment size during daily backup run is really small and there is almost none impact on the operating system.

Re: Weekday/Weekend Schedule option choice
I wasn't thinking of the OS as much as the network infrastructure, I haven't had a chance to measure the network traffic that the differentials have been doing.
I really like the full scheduler offered by Backup and Replication, for the Backup Copy Job, where you can finetune precisely when it happens.
It's not terribly critical, but it was odd that the option wasn't there.
Thanks,
RP.

Thanks for clarifications. What is your destination target going to be, since you're referring to network traffic?

Our primary backup targets are effectively NAS (backblaze type storage pods) for our machines.
It's also what our B&R secondary backups are stored on.

So network utilization should not be high since everything is on the same LAN. Thanks for your feedback again!
