How to add a HP StoreOnce NFS Repository?

I must be missing something somewhere here (V8)... I've created a NFS share on my StoreOnce. Right now all hosts have read-write access. I go to Backup Repositories, I click Add, I select StoreOnce, in Shared Folder I type my NFS export name (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/nas/NFS01) as shown in the StoreOnce, click next and I get "Invalid Shared Folder".

If I try to add a Linux server as my repository, I create my StoreOnce as a Linux host, then click Populate and I get "an error has occurred. See logs for details". If I ignore that, and click Next then Browse and try to browse my new "Linux" server, I get "Faied to start PerlSoap protocol" (note - the word faied is what actually appears on the screen - it must be a typo in the source code).

So what am I doing wrong here? I can see and access the StoreOnce via CIFS with no issues.

Mount that NFS share to a Linux server, and add that Linux server as Veeam backup repository.
