Upgrading from 6.5 to 8

Post by lvfh »

Hello

New here and first post, I planning to upgrade from Version 6.5 to 8. I'm running Backup and Replication 6.5, Hyper V (v6.5.0.144) on Windows 2012.

My questions:
Is there a way to upgrade from 6.5 to 8 at once without going through 7?

Is there something to be aware? On the release note is mentioned to contact Veeam Technical Support if running 7.0 or 6.5.

The ISO (Backup&Replication.8.0.0.817.iso) is the correct for the version 6.5 upgrade to 8?

Thanks
Carlos

Yes. Just upgrade following the procedure from the Release Notes.

Actually, the Release Notes do not say anything like that. Just double checked.
