Updated beta before GA

Will an updated beta version of Endpoint Backup be released prior to GA - which addresses some of the critical issues/bugs?

More specifically I am thinking of Case # 00711874 [ ref:_00D30RWR._50060iVWGX:ref ]:
"If the remote storage is unavailable during scheduled backup the next successful job will create a full backup."

Apparently this results in the .VBM file being recreated with only the new full backup, and all references to the existing backup chain are lost.
Also from I am told, there is currently no way to recreate the .VBM file from existing .VBK/VIB files - so basically the backup is lost here.
