Report on Hotadd failures

Post by Brad.Morris »

Hi there,

Just wondering if there is a report in Veeam One V8 that I can run to report on backups that were unable to hotadd drives? We have been having a few issues with some backup jobs not able to hotadd disks on certain servers and was hoping there is a report that I can run instead of having to manually examine my 20+ jobs.

Cheers,
Brad.

Hi Brad,

Do you mean tracking situations when there was a failover to network processing mode for VMs backed up by a hot add proxy?

Thanks!

BTW, if the above scenario is exactly what you're after, then take at look a this report - Backup Infrastructure Assessment ("VMs failed over to network processing mode" section). Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for that. That is the report I am after but it is only In the full version. So I am downloading a trial key.

Cheers,
Brad.

Yes, take a look at other reports such as Protected VMs report etc. Also keep in mind that there is an upgrade path from Veeam B&R to Veeam Availability Suite, our sales rep should have more info on that.
