FLR....

Post by EBoucq »

Hi,

I'm wondering how to configure the FLR appliance when the Veeam B&R server is in a different network than the VM to restore.
Do I have to use an IP address in the same network as the VM or as the Veeam server ?
Do I need the root password of the VM to restore a file ?

Thanks,
Eric.

Basically, FLR appliance should be configured on the same network where the Veeam B&R server resides. However, note that restore to original location will not be available for VMs that are on different network. You could however place appliance on the VMs network and configure routing to allow access to it from the console.
