Cluster going down

Hi,

I just wanted to see if any other users have experienced complete cluster crashes (and CSV's going offline) while backing up VM's with Veeam (latest version and patch) ?.
It may just be co-incidence, but we have had this happen twice in two days now - and each time, Veeam had jobs running ..

I will of course investigate more in-depth, but just good to hear if this can be a known issue.

Could you elaborate on the issue? What kind of error you can see etc.?
Have you contacted Veeam technical support? If yes, please provide your support case number.

What Hyper-V version are you using?

Sever 2012 R2. I haven't contacted support yet, as I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced a similar thing. But what I have done, is the implement hardware VSS with an offhost proxy, to see if that helps. So I'm currently testing that now.

Make sure you're on the latest version of Veeam B&R, if it doesn't help please open a support case.

P.S. using off-host proxy server is indeed recommended approach of backing up VMs in Hyper-V infrastructure.
