Removing backup repo

Post by loelly »

I'm running Veeam 7 and need to remove a backup repository from the configuration, but want to keep the files on it. If I right-click on the repo and select "Remove", I'm prompted if I want to "Delete this backup repository?". Now, if I select yes, will may backups be deleted from disk?

The files will be preserved on disk. They will be unregistered from a backup console, though.

Also, don't forget to delete jobs pointed to the said repository first. Otherwise, wizard wouldn't let you delete repository.

Thanks.
