Hi,
Is there a way to change an existing repository declared as a SMB share to a Dedupe Appliance type (HP StoreOnce).
I haven't looked yet at PowerShell.
When you have many repositories declared as SMB share targeting HP Storeonce and you upgrade to v8, you can't change the type as the option is greyed out.
By the way, I know there isn't yet "magic" behind this option for Storeonce products (just preventing compression to be enabled), so perhaps the good thing is just to do nothing.
Thanks

Re: Changing repository type
Correct, since there is no advanced integration with HP StoreOnce currently (just automatic selection of recommended job settings), no reason to do this now, you can leave everything as is.
