Configuration Backup Failed, Veeam B&R v8.0

After upgrading to Veeam B&R v8.0 (happens with or without Patch #1) I've been unable to backup my configuration to my Linux (Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS) repository.
I've been successfully using the repository for VM backups and have been for months on v7.0, v8.0 and v8.0 Patch #1 without issues. The only thing causing me trouble is configuration backups.

The error I'm getting via E-mail:

(Hostnames and IP's obscured. Host names and IP addresses are correct.)

I'm at a loss on where to start on fixing this, since normal VM incremental backup runs flawlessly. Everything just works perfectly when doing backups of VM guests. AAP, Dedup, Encryption, everything is just smooth. Just not the configuration backup job.

For the purpose of sheer testing you can create a folder on a server hosting VB&R, assign repository role to it and try to point configuration backup to it. Thanks.
